Epson x Dulex

Within my first year I completed a live brief in collaboration with Epson and Birmingham City University. My final outcome was a coordinated collection of surface pattern designs for interiors, working toward furnishing Epson’s stand at the FESPA 2019 tradeshow.

My designs were predominantly geometric florals, inspired by nature growing within the structure of greenhouses.

 

Toward the end of the brief we made a single cushion to encapsulate our entire collection. Mine

is adorned with handrolled paper beads, created from the waste paper produced throughout the project. Recycled and unique the beads linked perfectly with my natural theme. Other techniques used were screenprinting, flocking, foiling and applique of digitally printed velvet.
